Manual deployment issue
In this case study, we will look at the business challenges that OmiSoft experienced when developing NFT minting software for our client. The main issue with which the client came to us was the manual deployment of each new collection. Several issues surfaced as a result of this manual approach, including:
Deployment inefficiencies
Manually deploying each new collection was a time-consuming procedure that demanded a large amount of manual labor from the development team. It caused delays and hampered the team’s ability to distribute new collections on schedule.
Scalability issues
Scaling up was problematic in the way the project got to us. The client’s capacity to properly manage a high frequency of minting requests was limited by the need to manually handle everything.

Solution
CI/CD pipeline development
To overcome this issue, our company used AWS services for CI/CD pipeline development, automated releases moved from EC2 to ECS, and set up DNS, which helped to:

- Avoid mistakes
- Allowed for faster collection releases
Web Design UI UX
We also improved UI UX design by:
- Making it easier to understand and navigate by optimizing front-end features
- Increasing web page performance
- Making UI improvements (Our UI UX web design team created a custom slider in UI; the old one worked badly and did not fit the design mockups.)
This resulted in a more fluid and responsive user experience thanks to code improvements, asset compression, and caching methods. Also, we achieved consistency and ease of use across all collections by unifying UI components and design standards.
